Owner Jason Fisch Awarded Forty Under 40 Award

Owner Jason Fisch was among the forty in the Hudson Valley that were awarded the 2009 Forty Under 40 Award at the Mid Hudson Civic Center. With a crowd of almost 900 people, the event was a great success. The recipients were awarded shakers to symbolize being the “Movers and Shakers” of the Hudson Valley region at this fourth annual event.

Jason Fisch’s Bio from Event Program:

Jason William Fisch (24) Owner/Senior Consultant Fisch Internet Solutions Since the age of 14, Jason has been deeply involved in serving his community as well as working in the business arena. A graduate of Beacon High School and Dutchess Community College where scholarships fully funded his education, Jason has given 10,000 hours towards volunteer activities. He has been a Boy Scout, junior corps captain for the Beacon Volunteer Ambulance Corp and was instrumental in working with the City of Beacon in an attempt to establish an Explorer Program for city teens to learn more about the fire department industry. Jason served for six years as a Town of Fishkill police cadet, being promoted to the highest rank of Captain and receiving the Police Cadet of the Year award in 2001. Through his work in the police cadet program he volunteered more than 4,000 hours in various community events, some with attendances reaching 10,000 people. He even had the privilege of serving in the perimeter guard detail for the presidential motorcade. He has served as a volunteer firefighter for the City of Beacon, was elected Lieutenant and then was hired as a career firefighter. At age 15, Jason volunteered to construct the City of Beacon’s website with Mayor Steve Gold, who was a Councilman at the time. A year later, Jason launched his web design business constructing sites for numerous area clients. In 2006, Jason redesigned his company to expand into IT consulting and is seeing a 30% to 50% jump in revenue over projected figures. Jason readily donates his time and money to local community groups, including Hudson Valley Semper Fi and the HUB (Hudson Valley Young Professionals) Community Service Committee.
