Jason Fisch, Founder & President of Fisch Solutions

Jason Fisch is the founder and president of Fisch Solutions, a managed IT and cybersecurity company founded in 2006 and headquartered in New Windsor, New York. He leads its work in managed IT, cybersecurity, compliance, AI adoption and governance for Hudson Valley organizations, combining hands-on technology experience with a background in entrepreneurship and public safety (professional history).

In 1998, at age 15, Jason built the City of Beacon’s first website, a project featured in a local television news report now preserved in Fisch’s video archive. By his late teens, he was building the technology business that would grow into today’s managed service provider, beginning with Fisch Website Design in 2001 and expanding into Fisch Solutions in 2006 (early business history).

Alongside his business career, Jason served in volunteer and career firefighting, EMS and a police-assistant role, with experience spanning Beacon, Arlington Fire District and the Town of Fishkill Police Department (public-safety background). He brought that experience into public-safety technology, developing printed rip-and-run incident systems and partnering with Spotted Dog Technologies on the ROVER emergency-response platform (development background, Fisch’s fire-service technology history). Through that partnership, Fisch helped put emergency communications directly into responders’ hands, from incident text messages to integrated response apps with mobile check-ins, arrival estimates and mapping (ROVER project history).

From Beacon’s First Website to Fisch Solutions

Jason’s technology career began with a project close to home. As a teenager, he brought a proposal to a Beacon City Council meeting and went on to build the city’s first website, an experience he recounts in his Orange County Chamber interview.

The project received local television coverage in 1998 from Channel 6 News, Cablevision. Fisch Solutions has preserved the report as a record of that early work.

Founding and Leading Fisch Solutions

Fisch Solutions grew from website development into broader IT services and business technology support. The Orange County Chamber’s account of its expansion documents the earlier Fisch Internet Solutions name, its 2006 origins and work developing emergency-response technology (read the company history).

In 2022, CRN described how Jason used peer networking to inform changes to the company’s sales and operations. Its profile identified the introduction of KPIs and operating processes alongside technology platforms serving the public-safety market (CRN’s Next-Gen Solution Provider Leaders).

Today, Fisch Solutions combines managed IT, cybersecurity, connectivity, phone systems and related technology services. Jason explains the reason for that approach in his Chamber interview: clients should have a clear point of contact rather than coordinating multiple technology vendors themselves (Fisch Solutions, Chamber interview).

Technology, Cybersecurity and AI

Jason’s work includes helping organizations connect technology decisions with budgets, security requirements and daily operations. Fisch’s cybersecurity and compliance services and AI services describe the company’s work in those areas.

His published commentary on agentic AI examines what changes when a tool moves from a demonstration into a business system. It addresses permissions, data governance, costs and who remains responsible when software can take action (read Jason’s LinkedIn article).

From his work at Fisch, Jason sees AI experimentation often beginning with one or two people, frequently company leaders trying an idea before a wider program exists. His advice is for leadership to take ownership: decide which tools are approved, what information they can use and who is responsible before informal habits become the way the company operates.

Public Safety and Community Service

Jason’s professional history includes paid firefighter/EMT service with the City of Beacon from 2005 to 2012 and Arlington Fire District from 2012 to May 2026. His Beacon responsibilities included department IT administration, while his Arlington experience included rescue-task-force work (professional history).

From Printed Rip-and-Runs to Mobile Response Information

His fire-service technology work includes the Auto-Printer RIP-N-RUN system and Fisch’s partnership with Spotted Dog Technologies on ROVER. Fisch’s fire-department technology history describes its early websites and rip-and-run systems, followed by participation in the ROVER response software project; Jason’s professional profile records his own development work.

The progression ran from printed incident information to text messages and, eventually, app-based communication for responders. Fisch and Spotted Dog’s joint work added ways for departments to see who was responding, view estimated arrival times and access incident maps (historical ROVER announcement).

That history includes mapping, incident alerts, response check-ins and information about hydrants and other water sources. ROVER’s software developer was Trumbull Software Associates, doing business as Spotted Dog Technologies; Fisch contributed through the partnership, development and deployment work described in the company’s historical announcement (ROVER project history).

Training and Youth Entrepreneurship

In 2017, Jason partnered with Skyfire on drone training for local fire departments at Cronomer Valley. Spectrum News covered the work and its applications for aerial scene assessment, heat detection and giving crews information they could not readily obtain from ground level (Spectrum News).

He also taught and coached participants in the Orange County Chamber’s inaugural Launchpad youth entrepreneurship program and served as the keynote speaker at graduation. His keynote highlights connect his own experience starting young with the students’ work developing their business ideas.
